Playing The Piano...

       Hello, my classmates? Today, I am going to talk about playing the piano. Everyone has their hobby. For example, playing computer game, watching TV, listening to music, and so on.  Can you play instrument? In many elementary schools, teachers teach how to play instrument in music class. There are so many kinds of instrument. I can play the piano In my case, I can tell surely that my hobby is plaing the piano. When I was young, I started doing it because my parents forced me to learn it. In korea, many children learn how to play the piano when they are young. For me, at first, I really didn't like playing it. Practice was very boring, and somtimes, I couldn't understand why I had to do this. One day, however, I found me who like playing it. I don't know the exact time when I like it very first. But, I am sure I really like it now, and also I will like it in the future. I think there are several reasons why people whose hobby is playing a instrument like playing a instrument. When I play the piano, I feel very comfortable and peaceful. My stress which comes from daily life is disappeared. When I play the piano, time is so fast. Do you like classic music? I really like this kind of music. And also, today, playing a instrument is one of the best ways to attract other people's mind. If you feel little lonely, learn how to play this, and try !!! I am sure you will feel better. :)

Weather :)

          I am going to talk about nowadays' weather. As you already know because you guys also live in winnipeg, the weather is too weird. When I came to Canada on last August, it was in the middle of summer, so the weather was very hot. In Korea, summer is very very hot season. the difference of summer is winnipeg's summer is very dry. In summer of Korea, it is very humid, so I was little hard to adjust that kind of summer, and a few months later, winter came to me. Before I arrived in Canada, many people said Canada is one of the coldest countries in the world, so I was afraid of the weather. But, except some days, it was normal as Korea's winter. I think it is because of global warming. Anyway, winter has almost gone. The weather was pretty good. However, last week was so terrible. One day was very cold and windy even it was snowy; however, the day after that day was very sunny and shiny. So, checking the weather before I leave at my home became one of the essential things. Even if I chose good clothes for that day's weather, there is a gap between a degree of the morning and a degree of the afternoon. It is little tricky. I heard that this year and last year's winter was too weird. Ashley said that It was the first time without a winter coat on her birthday. Which season do you like? I like fall. One of the reasons why I like fall is there is my birthday during this season. And, I really don't like hot and cold weather. Maybe most people don't like those. Also, I like a rainy day. The sound and smell of rain are very great. If you don't like a rainy day, I can tell you to change your opinion, and also I can share my opinion. Enjoy the weather whatever!!!

New Bus.

         As you guys know, there are some chages in winnipegtransit from 8th April. New bus appeared, and some buses disappeared or changed their schedules. Today, I took a bus that is new one, #170, to go to downtown. The interesting thing was a way that is just for bus, so the way was very quite. Also, there are no traffic jam, so it reduced time to get my destination. This was the most important thing. And other interesting thing was bus stops. On the way, there were new bus stops which were very new and big; these were pretty different from original bus stops. But, there were also some bad effects which came from chages. My bus's schedule was changed. Before it change, the last bus drove until 1 a.m. However, now, the last bus is at about 6:30 p.m. even, there is no bus on sunday. How terrible it is. I could know which bus is which one. But, I am confused again. I think I have memorize about this system to be better. Because I don't have a car, bus is the only way to go to other place. But, public transportation system was changed. Suddeny, I have a question why the system wass changed. Anyway, although there are some benefits by new system, I am going through confusing. You guys are also in chaos??? I think I think so.

How to choose major

 Do you like your major? There are many university students in the world, but I think not everyone is content with their major although they chose the major when they entered the university. Many people can't satisfy their major. I'll give some ideas how to choose major by sharing my case.

 First of all, I recommend you should know about the major which you'll select when you confront this problem. In fact, I also don't really like my major which is an Interantional Commerce & Area Studies. We learn about commerce/trade, economics and so on. I think our field is ambiguous because we learn too many things! Furthemore, I should solve  a mathematical problem and analyze a chart while I don't like them. I think you can be curious why I chose my major. The reason is I didn't know clearly what the major teach when I chose my major. I tended to judge by appearance of the major even if I checked their curriculum. However, choosing your major is not a joke. You need to consider your much attention instead of following appearance.

 Next, It is good to know what you can do very well. I think everyone individually has a potential ability.
For example, some people are very mathematially inclined, and there are people of a literary turn. If you can find your own telent, you can easily find proper major for you. I know the solution is difficult. But, you can find this, experiancing something a lot.

 Finally, you can ask some information about many majors to your family, acquantance, teachers and consultant. They can help you when you get through difficulties.

 In conclusion, different people have differnet geniuses, so ponder what you choose by following your own feeling when you choose your major. In addition,  you can ask someting to helpers.

Good bye my classmatesㅜㅜ!

 While people meet and say goodbye over and over agian, saying good bye is always difficult and sad for me.. Last week, many classmates left Winnipeg, so there are a few stuendts are going to study remained class of 400/450. In fact, I didn't talk about many things with the classmates who left here because some of them often absent classes, and I didn't approach them. I should have had conversation with them, I regret this. Even I didn't go last classes, so I couldn't see their last face. However, it's fortunate that I met Hikaru and Diana on Friday before they left. I have gone to university college although I was reluctant to go activity of the day because I want to meet friend who will leave here. Eventually, I could have short time for saying good bye to Hikaru and Diana becuase we didn't go the activity, and we talked about several things, such as future plan. I know clearly meeting them again is very very difficult, even it's rare. But, I didn't want to say good bye for good. I look foward to meetting them again. And, I hope all of them will do very good job whenever they want. I believe they can do something well. Moreover, I would like to be a good friend to remained friends.:) Take care~

Tim Holton vs Starbucks

  Do you enjoy drinking a cup of coffee? I would like to drink it, and staying in cafe is good to relax for me, so I used to go to cafe when I was in Korea. I also often visit coffe shop in Canada. Although Canada has several main coffe shop, I think Tim Holton and Starbucks are the most popluar shops. Therefore, I'll talk about these as compared each other.

 For one thing, They have something in common. It is they are franchise stores. By franchising, they receive ingredients from main company, and all of store pursue same things. For example, they sell same menu to customer, followed smme price. Moreover, they have same event. Even I've heard that Starbucks turn on music that was received from main company, and mood of shop is very simmilar with their other shops.

 However, there are some differences. As price, Tim Holton is cheaper than Starbucks. And, Tim Holton is more common in Canada because they sell lots of things,such as coffee, doughnuts, salad and even soup. We can see long line to buy their produts when we have lunch time. I think Canadian lovees them. In contrast, Starbucks has many menu for coffee. I like this one more although it is more expensive because I like to dirnk Frapucino. In addition, I think mood of cafe is better than Tim Holton, it is felt warm!

 In conclusion, we can choose favorable cafe between Tim Holton and Starbucks, following several differences.

What is your opinion about cell phone?

Cell phone is one of the most necessary items. Almost people have this machine not only elders but also youngers. There are some people who use cell phone very loudly in public places; it is a bad thing, but it's those people's fault totally. Recently, we can use the internet by cell phone, so if you see some people's hands, you can find their cell phones very easily. Can you imagine the life without cell phone? I can't. In cell phone, there are a plenty of useful things. Especially, smart phone is very interesting and surprising tool. For instance, we can text some messages by using some applications for free, and also there are many interesting applications and games, so you can enjoy those. And we can take picture. On the internet, you can check the weather if it is cold or hot and if it is rainy, sunny, or snowy before you go outside. You can see some news that is about anything you want to know. You can also see video by u-tube, which is one of the most popular web-sites. Also, we can buy airline ticket, movie ticket, and other things by using our cell phone. As you saw upper side, there are so many good and convenient things about using cell phone. Although there are little disadvantages about cell phone, I think that there are much more good things that is to get by using cell phone. So, I think cell phone is very useful thing, and it is very good!

After school

In winnipeg's life, I found a little interesting thing; it is exercise. I have gone to this university's gym almost every weekly since this February. In this gym's basement, there are a lot of people who are exercising. The most surprise thing is there is a track in there. In korea, there is no track in a gym, so a person who wants to run only has to use treadmill. But, I can have another option to run. It was very interesting. Usually, when I go to the gym, first, I go to mats. And I do stretching to relax my muscle because if I don't do that enough, I might be hurt. After do this, I go to cycle machine; I do it for 40minutes, and then I have some rest. I also drink some water; its taste is very awesome because after cycling, I am always very thrist. Next, I run along the track. It's little boring and very hard, but when I finish running, I can get very big satisfaction; it is the reason why I do running. Although running was very hard very first time, I found joy of running, and now, I like running more than before. After do this all, I am taking shower, and I go to my home usually at 9~10 p.m. Almost everyday, when I arrive my home, I feel so tired because I already used my energy to do exercise, so I don't have to worry about insomenia. If you have an insomenia, I strongly recommend exercise. You will sleep as soon as you lie you bed.

Lost & Find

I can't forget the feeling which I felt when I lost my hat and ring while I was treveling Estern-Canada by myself in last July. This story was started, leaving to travel 'o'..I think that losting somthing was previously announced..  In fact, when I've decided to travel, I couldn't prepare well because I didn't know whether IEP has Summer break time or not; therefore, the beginnig was unstable, and then my first trip became to be like a survival game.

When I was in Toronto which was my first city for my trip, I lost my pretty hat, which I bought recently in Korea. At that time, I was finding a place that I can use internet because I should search some informations.
I think I lost the hat while I was finding the place, but I am not sure. I had a good for search for the hat; nevertheless, it was nowhere to ve founded..uu..I was really disoppointed..

But, it was ok on second thought.. More annoying happening was waiting for me..
When I was in Ottawa, which was a third city, I reconized I lost my precious ring in Kingston.
I was pretty suprised, upset and miserable, so I was crying while I was walking on the streets of Ottawa of night..I thought I won't be able to find that. However, I tried to find my ring although I couldn't speak English well. When I was in Montreal, I called to information center which I've visited in Kingstion. And, the staff said they can't find my ring at first, I asked to find that again.  I could find that !!! It was lucky.
And finally, I went Kington again, I got my ring..

This expriance remain preciously to me because I became to know that impossible thing doesn't exist if I truly want. As a result, It was not really terrible exprience.
